1pm to 1:30pm The Midford Brook: Recordings and Reflections 2023–2025
Harry Ovington presents an ambisonic mix of blue spaces recordings in Somerset accompanied by poetic reflections. The recordings show a contrast between sounds that represent biodiversity and sounds that represent pollution, such as the sound of toxic algae photosynthesising. The poems reflect the recordist’s personal elation and confliction about what they hear during the recording process. The immersive audio presentation will be followed by a short talk and Q & A with Harry.
