SOUND ARTIST RESIDENCY 2026
We are delighted to announce that our Immersive Audio Network Sound Artist Residency for 2026 is Emika!

As part of our sound artist residency, Emika will receive:
- exclusive use of our full Immersive Audio Lab, including 25 Genelec speakers and 3 subwoofers to develop her project.
- friendly technical support to help get her set up and settled in.
- a free invitation to Day 1 of our paid ‘Introduction to Immersive Audio’ short course, which was on Saturday 24th January 2026.
- a stipend of £1,000.
- an opportunity to exhibit her work to an audience at our Immersive Audio Network Festival on Wednesday 28th January 2026. (See our Festival page!)
This sound artist residency is supported by MyWorld, The Centre for Cultural and Creative Industries (CCCI) at Bath Spa University and the Immersive Audio Network.

The sound artist residency takes place at Bath Spa University, Newton St Loe, Bath BA2 9BN. The location is accessible on calming beautiful grounds, including Italian gardens and a lake to help spark inspiration during your residency.
IMMERSIVE AUDIO TRAINING
Back by popular demand, we ran a third iteration of our 'Introduction to Immersive Audio' short course on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th January 2026.

Gain practical hands-on experience capturing immersive audio binaural field recordings and develop expertise on how to edit and mix immersive ambisonic audio in a friendly learning environment.
